Unconscious Man in Running Car Arrested for Impaired Driving
One man was arrested for impaired driving after being found unconscious behind the wheel of a running but parked car at a Goobies gas station. Around 9:45pm on Tuesday, Clarenville RCMP received a report of a man who appeared unconscious in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle in a parking lot. The man showed signs of impairment and failed a roadside breath test. He was arrested for impaired driving, and held overnight before being released to appear in court at a later date.
