U.S. President Donald Trump delivered a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Wednesday morning. Trump’s visit comes as his allies become increasingly concerned over his desire to take control of Greenland. The President said he would not use force to acquire Greenland, but reaffirmed his desire to take control of the territory.

The U.S. President spoke a day after Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered his own speech. Carney received a rare standing-ovation in Davos, and while he did not mention Trump by name, he pushed back against the President’s aggressive foreign policy.

Trump responded to Carney’s speech today. “ I watched your Prime Minister yesterday, he wasn’t so grateful. But they should be grateful to us. Canada lives because of the United States. Remember that, Mark, the next time you make your statements.”
