That Choir, one of Toronto’s premier professional a cappella ensembles, will embark on an East Coast tour celebrating eighteen years of sharing extraordinary choral music and storytelling with audiences across Canada.

Now in its 18th season, That Choir has established itself as a dynamic force in contemporary choral performance, combining exceptional musicianship with emotionally resonant programming that connects deeply with audiences. Founded in 2008 by Artistic Director Craig Pike, the ensemble brings together sixteen professional singers from diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds.

This July, That Choir will perform across Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island with a program celebrating the ensemble’s artistic journey. Featuring beloved repertoire from throughout its history alongside works that showcase the vibrant artistry defining the ensemble today, the tour highlights both the choir’s legacy and its continued artistic evolution.

Before departing for Atlantic Canada, That Choir will present a special Toronto send-off concert, offering local audiences the opportunity to experience the anniversary program before it heads east.

“Being a Newfoundlander and growing up with the rich choral tradition of the East Coast, I couldn’t be more excited to bring That Choir home and share our music with all the East Coast choral music lovers,” says Artistic Director Craig Pike.
