UPDATE: TCH fully re-opens after collision near Hillview
RCMP NL confirms that the Trans-Canada Highway – near Hillview and the Route 205 turnoff – has fully reopened to traffic in both directions.

The Trans-Canada Highway remains impassable due to a serious motor vehicle collision and is expected to be closed for an undetermined period.
There are no detours available and motorists are asked to avoid the area and delay travel plans.
Police recognize this closure is causing significant disruption and appreciates the public’s patience, understanding and cooperation as emergency responders continue their work at the scene.
