Speed cameras now operating in more locations across Newfoundland and Labrador

Justice, News, Traffic

Two speed cameras have been relocated from Veterans Memorial Highway to the Foxtrap Access Road Overpass construction site and are now active.

Three more speed cameras have been activated: at the intersection of West Valley Road and Raymond Heights in Corner Brook, on the Trans-Canada Highway in Deer Lake, and at the Elizabeth Goudie Building in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

Speed cameras remain active on the Trans-Canada Highway in Gander, on Waterford Bridge Road in St. John’s, on Larkhall Street in St. John’s, on Blackmarsh Road in Mount Pearl, and on Karwood Drive in Paradise.

All 10 speed cameras are now live and capturing speeding vehicles, and motorists are reminded to obey posted speed limits. Signage is in place at all sites. Information about camera locations is available here, at nl511.ca and through the NL511 mobile app.
