Some showers expected across most of the province

An area of low pressure will push across most of the province today, bringing showers to most areas.

The heaviest rain will fall over the west coast of the Island and southeastern Labrador, with amounts of 10 to 20 mm expected. Central areas of Newfoundland will see about 5 mm of rain. The rain will reach the Avalon this evening.

Along the west coast of the province, temperatures will reach between 13 and 16. For central and the Avalon, highs between 20 and 23 are expected.

Temperatures will range from 10 to 16 across Labrador.
