Shelter-In-Place Order Lifted for James Place, but Police Continue Investigation
Police descended on James Place in St. John’s Tuesday evening, issuing a shelter-in-place order shortly before 7pm. RNC put out a public notice asking residents to remain indoors and others to avoid the area. Police also urged the public not to share photos or videos of the scene on social media. The order was lifted by 10:15pm, but officers would remain in the area to continue the investigation. Police are expected to issue an update today.
