Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign raises over $1.4 million across the province
The Salvation Army 2025 Christmas Kettle Campaign raised just over $1.4 million across Newfoundland and Labrador.
“We are deeply grateful for the ongoing support we receive from people across this province,” says Major Pam Goodyear, divisional secretary for public relations, The Salvation Army, Atlantic Division. “As economic instability and the rising cost of living continues to strain households, we’re seeing consistent demand for our programs and services. We rely on the generosity of community donors to help us provide practical assistance and hope to neighbours in need.”
The Christmas Kettle Campaign ran from November 20 to December 24, 2025, with funds raised remaining in the communities where they were collected to support local programs and services year-round.
The Salvation Army extends its sincere thanks to the volunteers, individual donors, service clubs, and corporate partners who made the 2025 Christmas Kettle Campaign possible. “Whether you volunteered for a single shift, donated at a kettle or online, or partnered with us as a business, your contribution made a meaningful difference,” says Goodyear. “The success of the kettle campaign is truly possible because of you.”
