Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s receives large donation of aluminum pull tabs
Avalon Pond Cleanups has shared photos of a recent massive donation of aluminum pull tabs to the Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s.
Pull Tab donations are accepted at Ronald McDonald House, and are recycled. The small pieces of aluminum are a way for the public to help the organization provide a supportive home for families who have travelled to St. John’s with an ill or injured child.
Tyler’s Annual Pull Tab drop for 2025 at Ronald McDonald House in St. John’s, NL. The total weight is 1392 pounds or an estimated 1,948,800 aluminum pull tabs. Plus a $200.00 cash donation which came all the way from Kelowna, BC.
The dollars raised from recycling pull tabs go directly to providing the programs and services for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Newfoundland and Labrador.
