Rogues winning streak snapped by Sentinels

News, Sports

The Newfoundland Rogues fell to the ADS Sentinels 119-89 at the Mary Brown’s Centre on Thursday night. This loss sees the Rogues four-game win streak snapped, splitting the season series with the Sentinels.

The Sentinels for the second night in a row came out to play right from the jump; shooting the leather off the ball all night, cruising to victory with relative ease. The Rogues were led in scoring by superstar guard Dedric Boyd’s 18 points and St. John’s own Ryan Harnett’s 17 points while the Sentinels Roderick Mcgarthy Jr. had another standout night leading all scorers with 29 points.

The Rogues will have a couple days to head back to the drawing board and prepare for a crucial matchup against the number one ranked Tri-City Tide on April 11th.
