Justice, News

The RNC has laid charges following a two-vehicle collision involving a dirtbike in St. John’s.

On June 22, officers responded to a dirtbike-vehicle collision at the intersection of Richard Nolan Drive and Pitts Memorial Drive. The 22-year-old male driver of the dirtbike went to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Friday, police charged the 22-year-old with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle over the legal limit. He was also issued summary offence tickets under the Off-Road Vehicles Act. He was released to appear in court on a later date.
