RNC investigating hit and run in St. John’s

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary in St. John’s is looking for help from the public in its investigation of a hit-and-run collision in the capital city Thursday, March 19.

At around 7 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Old Pennywell Road and Columbus Drive. Two occupants of a grey Toyota Corolla had left the area on foot before police arrived.

There were no injuries reported.

RNC collision reconstructionists are seeking any information, including video footage (CCTV, dash camera, cell phone), from the area of Old Pennywell Road at Columbus Drive between 6:50 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday.
