RCMP investigates fatal commercial vehicle crash near South Branch
The RCMP is investigating a single-vehicle crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near South Branch on Friday that claimed the life of a 63-year-old man.
Shortly before 4:00 a.m. on Friday, the RCMP received a report from a passing motorist who observed an overturned tractor trailer off the highway. Police attended the scene and located the driver of the vehicle deceased inside.
A Collision Reconstructionist with RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is engaged. The investigation is continuing.
