Province-wide fire ban lifted
The province-wide outdoor fire ban issued on August 5 has been lifted.
The Provincial Government reminds residents that it is still forest fire season in the province. Those wishing to have an open outdoor fire are asked to check the Fire Hazard Map beforehand. Fires will be banned for regions where the index is very high or extreme. This map is updated daily at approximately 2:00 p.m.
