Province mourns passing of former politician, Supreme Court justice Leo Barry
The province is mourning the death of a prominent politician and Supreme Court justice. Leo Barry served as a cabinet minister in the Tory governments of Frank Moores and Brian Peckford, and later led the Liberal party in the 1985 provincial election. He was appointed to the bench as a Supreme Court justice in 1989.
