Province invests in arts infrastructure and programming across Newfoundland and Labrador
The province announced funding through the Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund to support arts organizations and community groups throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
A total of 38 projects have been approved under the program, representing an investment of over $700,000 to strengthen arts infrastructure, enhance programming opportunities, and increase participation in cultural activities across the province.
The Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund supports projects that enhance arts infrastructure, strengthen cultural programming, and increase participation in arts and culture throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Funding helps not-for-profit organizations upgrade specialized equipment and facilities, while supporting community and professional arts activities that engage residents and enrich the province’s cultural sector.
The province says additional applications are currently under review, and additional grant approvals are expected in the days ahead through the Arts Infrastructure and Programming Fund.
