Poor road conditions between Butter Pot and Witless Bay Line
Avalon East RCMP cautions all drivers that road conditions and visibility on the Trans-Canada Highway between Butter Pot Provincial Park and Witless Bay Line are extremely poor, due to snow and high winds.
Please consider delaying any non-essential travel until conditions improve. If you must travel in the area this morning, slow down and drive with caution.
Leave extra space, brake gently and early, make sure your headlights are on and always drive according to the road and weather conditions.
