Police responding to motor vehicle collision on TCH near Route 80
Placentia-Whitbourne RCMP is responding to a serious motor vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada Highway near the Route 80 overpass. Traffic is currently moving slowly in both directions, and motorists should expect significant delays. Future lane closures are possible as crews respond to and investigate this collision.
Police ask to please slow down and exercise an abundance of caution in this area. Obey all directions from police and first responders. Motorists are reminded that the Move Over Law requires you to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles.
