Police charge woman with armed robbery in Corner Brook
Police have made an arrest following an armed robbery in Corner Brook.
Around 12:30 a.m. today, the RNC responded to an armed robbery at a business on West Street. The suspect presented a weapon, demanded cash from an employee and fled the area. There were no injuries.
While conducting routine patrols an hour later, officers arrested Miranda Spencer on charges of armed robbery, assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The 31-year-old was held to appear in court.
