Two whales washed ashore in Point May over the weekend, prompting community members to come together in an effort to help the stranded animals.
Residents have been sharing photos and expressing their gratitude to the mayor and fellow community members who stepped up to help the stranded whales. Seeing the animals return to the sea has given them a second chance at life.
