Former premier Dwight Ball has received a new appointment from the federal government.

Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne announced Wednesday that Ball has been appointed chairperson of the board of directors of the Canada Development Investment Corporation (CDEV). This appointment is set for a 4-year term, effective Nov. 5.
