Officer Assaulted While Responding to Report of Suspicious Person
A report of a suspicious person led to an altercation with an officer and an arrest yesterday. Around 9:30pm RNC responded to the report in the downtown St. John’s area. After investigating, the 31-year old was arrested for causing a disturbance, assaulting a police officer, and resisting arrest. They were held to appear in court this morning.
