NL Regiment kick off six-game road trip this weekend in Cape Breton
It’s a pivotal point in the season as the Newfoundland Regiment begin a six-game, 10 day road trip. The Regiment kick off this weekend with three games in as many nights, starting with back-to-back match-ups Friday and Saturday in Cape Breton against the Eagles. They’ll travel to Moncton on Sunday to play the Wildcats.
The Regiment then finish the road trip with stops in Halifax, Charlottetown and Saint John before returning to Mary Brown’s Centre on Feb. 11.
The Regiment are enjoying a great season with 52 points in 44 games, good for fourth overall in the Eastern Conference. The club has also been a big hit at Mary Brown’s Centre and are among the league leaders in attendance this season, averaging over 5,000 fans per game.
