Man with seven outstanding arrest warrants taken into custody
A man with 7 outstanding warrants for his arrest was arrested over the weekend, and now faces even more charges. Around 12:30am Sunday, a tip led police to an intoxicated man attempting to drive away from a Mount Pearl business. There, it was discovered that the 35-year old had seven outstanding warrants for his arrest. Once informed that he was being placed under arrest, the man became combative, and now faces additional charges of resisting arrest, as well as three breaches of release orders. He was taken to lockup and held for court.
