Man With “Edged Weapon” Arrested After Mount Pearl Armed Robbery
Tuesday, February 24th around 7:40pm, RNC officers responded to an armed robbery at a service station in Mount Pearl. Officers searched the area and located a man matching the description of the suspect walking in a nearby subdivision. A search revealed he was carrying an edged weapon, and the 34-year old was arrested. He now faces charges of Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
