Man with $8,000 in fines ticketed for driving while suspended, vehicle impounded
On Friday, May 15, 2026 at 11:48 a.m., RNC officers were conducting routine patrols in the downtown area when they recognized a man driving a SUV on Water Street.
The officers were aware that the man had a suspended license and a traffic stop was initiated. The
56-year-old man was issued a summary offence ticket for driving while suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
He also had approximately $8,000 in fines.
