Man Jumping Into Traffic Taken to Hospital, Then Lockup
Yesterday afternoon, RNC responded to a report of a man jumping out into traffic on Bay Bulls Road. Once on the scene, they found an intoxicated 22-year old they believed to be having a mental health crisis. The man was taken to hospital, but became violent, spit in an officer’s face, and threatened to harm others. No longer a candidate for treatment, he was charged and taken to lockup.
