Man found slumped over wheel arrested for driving while impaired by drug
It was just after 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, when RNC officers received a call about a man who was allegedly slumped over the wheel of his parked vehicle in the downtown area of St. John’s.
Police located the 48-year-old man and subsequently charged him with driving while impaired by drug.
In addition, he is prohibited from driving country wide. He was charged for that as well. The man was held to appear in court and his vehicle was impounded.
