Man arrested after woman pepper sprayed on the Northeast Avalon
The RNC received a call for service around 4:00 a.m. yesterday that a woman had been pepper sprayed on the Northeast Avalon.
Through the investigation, officers learned the woman had been held against her will.
A 27-year-old man has been charged with assault with a weapon and forcible confinement in connection with the incident.
The man was held to appear in provincial court.
