K9 Unit Tracks Down Two Suspects in Centre City Robbery
Tuesday, May 5th around 6:30pm, RNC responded to a report of a robbery in centre-city St. John’s. Two male suspects who had left the area were located by police, but failed to comply with officers and fled on foot. With the help of the K9 Unit, both were later apprehended. A 23-year old has been charged with Robbery, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Resisting Arrest, and Breach of Court Order. A 24-year old was charged with Robbery, Resisting Arrest, and Breach of Court Order. Both were held for court.
