K-9 Unit tracks down suspect in downtown armed robbery
Around 8:30 p.m. on April 21, the RNC responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business in downtown St. John’s. Officers learned that the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. With the assistance of the K-9 Unit, the 24-year-old male suspect was located and then arrested. He was held to appear in court.
