Justice Minister visiting Labrador with RCMP
Helen Conway Ottenheimer, the Minister of Justice and Public Safety, along with RCMP Assistant Commissioner Pat Cahill, are traveling today (Thursday, July 30) to visit several RCMP detachments in Labrador and along the coast.
Arranged by the RCMP, the visits provide Minister Conway Ottenheimer the opportunity to listen and meet with local Indigenous and community leaders and be on the ground to discuss how the RCMP can best serve the region. While in Labrador, the Minister will meet with representatives from the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
