IronFest is returning in 2026 with a summer concert featuring a lineup of Canadian artists spanning country, Celtic rock and alternative rock, along with a competition to spotlight emerging local talent.

The IronFest 2026 concert will take place Aug. 8 at the Labrador City Recreation Area on Booth Avenue.

Dean Brody
Dean Brody headlines IronFest 2026. Over a career spanning more than two decades, the country artist has earned 34 top 10 singles including nine No. 1s, 19 CCMA Awards, two JUNO Awards and more than 519 million global streams.

Finger Eleven
Alternative rock band Finger Eleven broke through with the single One Thing before scoring a five-times platinum No. 1 hit with Paralyzer in 2007. Their most recent singles, Adrenaline and Blue Sky Mystery featuring Richard Patrick of Filter, both peaked at No. 2 on Canadian rock charts in 2025.

Derina Harvey Band

The Derina Harvey Band plays high-energy Celtic rock rooted in traditional influences. The band won the East Coast Music Award for Fans’ Choice Entertainer of the Year in 2024 and has toured extensively across Canada and the United States.

Local talent takes the stage
Opening the concert will be the winner of IronFest Idol, a music competition taking place this April open to local and regional artists. The winner earns a spot on the IronFest main stage.

“IronFest Idol is one of the ways we invest directly in our local music scene,” said Taylor Gambin, recreation director for the Town of Labrador City. “It’s about giving homegrown talent a real stage, real exposure, and a chance to be part of something bigger.”

IronFest has become one of Labrador West’s major summer events, drawing local residents and visitors to the region each year.

“I am incredibly proud to welcome residents and visitors alike to IronFest 2026,” said Mayor Jordan Brown. “This festival is more than a weekend of entertainment. It brings neighbours together, supports local businesses, and highlights the culture that makes our town a special place to live, work and visit. I invite everyone to join us Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at the Labrador City Arena grounds.”

Ticket information, performance times and IronFest Idol competition dates will be announced in the coming weeks. More information is available at www.labradorwest.com.
