Harbour Breton RCMP seizes vehicle of suspended driver
A 49-year-old suspended driver had his vehicle seized by police Saturday during a traffic stop near Conne River.
On Feb. 28, shortly before 12:30 p.m., an officer patrolling Route 360 pulled over a vehicle headed northbound near the Conne River turnoff. During the traffic stop, police learned that the driver was operating with a suspended licence, and that the car was not properly insured.
The driver was issued tickets under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while disqualified and for the uninsured vehicle. His car was seized by police and impounded.
