Gas Prices Rise, With Diesel Up Nearly 15 Cents
The Public Utilities Board’s latest update to fuel prices brings some significant increases. The price of gas is up 4.8 cents per litre, the price of diesel on the island rises 14.7 cents, and furnace oil increases by 12.77 cpl. In parts of Labrador, diesel is up 11.1 cents per litre, and stove oil rises by 8.64 cents. Propane is the lone fuel to decrease in price, down by 0.6 cpl. The PUB’s next adjustment is tomorrow.
