Gander RCMP investigating fatal weekend crash
Gander RCMP is investigating a single vehicle crash on Branch Road Sunday morning that resulted in the death of one man.
Around 6:30 a.m. on July 12, Gander RCMP detachments responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Branch Road near Aspen Cove. The driver of the vehicle, a 27-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger was transported to hospital with serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.
A Collision Reconstructionist with RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been engaged. The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.
