Excessive speeder stopped on Route 510
Forteau RCMP suspended the licence of a driver caught travelling 57 km/h over the posted speed limit on Wednesday.
On Feb. 25, an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle observed travelling at 137 km/h in an 80km/h zone on Route 510, near the community of L’Anse au Loup.
The 21-year-old driver was ticketed for excessive speeding and issued a seven-day suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.
