Delays and cancellations continue at Wabush Airport due to lack of firefighting equipment
There are still some delays and cancellations today at Wabush Airport following flight disruptions on Monday.
Flights to and from Wabush Airport, also known as YWK, were grounded on Monday due to a lack of available firefighting equipment at the airport.
PAL Airlines says it has been informed that the equipment is currently unavailable. The airline has not yet issued an official update this morning.
Passengers affected by the disruptions are being advised that they will receive email notifications with any changes to their travel plans.
