Deep freeze & weather warnings impact travel across Canada

News, Travel

A slow-moving Nor’easter has been causing an extended period of travel frustration over the last couple of days as it rolls over major eastern cities, pushes into Atlantic Canada and lingers until Tuesday in some major travel hubs for airlines and passengers. In Toronto, roughly 60cm’s of snow has fallen which has brought the city and operations at Pearson International to a standstill. That has also impacted many flights scheduled to arrive and depart since Sunday, stretching into this morning as well.
