Clarenville RCMP seizes vehicle from suspended driver
Clarenville RCMP seized a vehicle from a 34-year-old suspended driver during a traffic stop early this morning.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m. on March 27, a Clarenville RCMP officer patrolling the eastbound Trans-Canada Highway observed a vehicle being operated by someone they recognized as a prohibited driver. A traffic stop was initiated and police confirmed that the 34-year-old man’s driver’s licence was suspended.
The driver was issued a ticket under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while disqualified. The car he was operating was seized by police and impounded.
