Charges Laid After Three Separate Incidents of Domestic Violence on Sunday
Three metro-area men are facing charges after three separate incidents of domestic violence on Sunday. The first happened shortly before 9am, when a 39-year old man was arrested by police who were called to a west-end St. John’s home. He was charged with Assault by Choking, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, and Violence Against an Intimate Partner.
Shortly before 7pm, RNC responded to a disturbance at a business on Topsail Road, where they arrested a 44-year old man. He has been charged with Assault, Violence Against an Intimate Partner, and two breaches of release order. Minutes later, officers were called to a residence in CBS, where a 58-year old man was arrested and charged with assault and violence against an intimate partner.
