Canadian Armed Forces Complete Assessment of Munition Found Near St. George’s
After historic military munition was found by the town of St. George’s, the Canadian Armed Forces say they’ve completed their assessment and deemed it safe to transport for disposal. Experts will now dispose of the item in a safe and secure location, and the RCMP detachment in Stephenville will re-open to the public as usual this morning.
