Canada advances to gold medal game at the Paralympics in Italy
Canada advanced to the gold medal game of the 2026 Paralympic Winter Games with a 4-2 semifinal victory over China at Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena on Friday night. Liam Hickey netted a goal and added two assists for Canada.
Canada improved to a perfect 4-0 after dominating in the roubd-robin.
It sets the stage for Sunday’s gold medal matchup against the powerhouse United States, which has won the last four Olympic titles.
