Bay St. George RCMP seizes two vehicles under Highway Traffic Act
Bay St. George RCMP ticketed two drivers and seized their vehicles yesterday under the Highway Traffic Act. Just before 2:00 p.m. on March 4, police noticed a vehicle pulling into a business that had a smashed window. Police approached the driver, who was found to be driving without insurance. A 20-year-old woman was ticketed and her vehicle was seized and impounded.
Later that afternoon, around 3:30 p.m., police determined via radar that a 72-year-old man was travelling at 147 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone. The driver was ticketed, his license was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.
