Bank of Canada to make overnight rate target announcement
The Bank of Canada will announce its decision on the target for the overnight rate today.
The last update was on October 25 when the bank held its target for the overnight rate at 5 per cent, with the Bank Rate at 5¼ per cent and the deposit rate at 5 percent.
The next interest rate announcement and monetary policy report will take place on January 24.
