Annual Christmas dinner serves more than 200 turkey dinners to community members
For the 17th year in a row local law firm Rogers Rogers Moyse & Conway held an annual Christmas dinner, serving over 200 turkey dinners to community members.
There was plenty of singing, laughing, and of course – eating this afternoon. Many volunteers make this event possible at the Knights of Columbus, from local politicians serving up big plates of turkey dinner, to the musicians keeping the crowd entertained. Including beloved musician Terry Rielly, also known for his Teddy Bear Picnic, who has been helping out with this event since day one.
Richard Rogers and his firm started this Christmas tradition 17 years ago. Rogers says it’s been heartwarming to see new faces every year, but also familiar faces who look forward to the turkey dinner, music, and of course gifts from Santa for the kids.
