Alex Newhook returns to the Canadiens’ lineup tonight following ankle injury
After spending the past several months sidelined following ankle surgery, St. John’s native Alex Newhook returns to the Montreal Canadiens’ lineup tonight.
The 25-year-old has been out of action since mid-November after fracturing his ankle in a game against the Dallas Stars. He was having a career season prior to the injury. In 17 games before hitting the injured reserve, the speedy forward had six goals and six assists as one of the team’s top forwards.
