71-Year Old Wanted on Two Warrants Assaults Police Officer, Leading to More Charges
Sunday, April 19th shortly after 2pm, RNC Patrol Services attended a residence in the west end of St. John’s in an attempt to arrest a man with two outstanding arrest warrants. The accused was located and arrested, but not without issue. The 71-year old now faces additional charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. He was held to appear in court this morning.
