There are hundreds of rescues each year in this province by volunteer agencies who often trek on foot, over challenging terrain to gain access to the injured, and then back again to waiting medical supports.

Today, a new tool in the toolbox for ground search & rescue teams that will make that trip faster, safer and easier. NTV’s Jodi Cooke reports.
