Thursday evening RNC patrol members attempted to stop a vehicle in the center city area of St. John’s. The vehicle fled from police but was located a short time later and was successfully stopped.

A 34-year-old male was arrested and charged with flight from police, operating a vehicle while prohibited, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, resisting arrest and a breach of court order.

The accused was taken into custody and held to appear in court.
